Jinko ESS SunTera Series

Utility-scale energy storage system: an integrated 20 ft container platform available in three product generations:

G2 (5.01 MWh), G3 (6.25 MWh) and G4 (7.76 MWh).

SunTera G2 combines proven 314 Ah cells with three-tier integrated protection. Its modular architecture supports flexible back-to-back layouts, while AI-powered real-time diagnostics enable seamless expansion. SunTera G3 uses ultra-high-capacity 587 Ah cells and serpentine-channel liquid cooling to maintain cell temperature variation within 2.5°C; cluster-level management improves system efficiency by more than 1% and unlocks 5% additional usable capacity. SunTera G4 features 702 Ah stacked cells and AI-enabled lifecycle predictive maintenance, with grid-forming capability to support weak-grid stability. For renewable energy sites, the series supports flexible AC or DC coupling for both new-build and retrofit projects, enabling energy shifting and output smoothing to reduce wind and solar curtailment.

JinkoSolar PV Modules

Tiger Neo 3.0: a high-efficiency N-type TOPCon bifacial module delivering 650-670 W front-side power and 85±5% bifaciality. Built on an enhanced N-type TOPCon platform, its optimised structure improves light absorption and capture. A low temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C and excellent low-light performance increase energy yield. Advanced metallisation and next-generation encapsulation provide strong resistance to PID, LID and LeTID, while certification for a 5,400 Pa front-side mechanical load supports reliable output throughout the product lifecycle.

Core Competence
Flexible Coupling Architecture

Supports a range of AC and DC coupling configurations to suit different site conditions, grid-connection arrangements and retrofit requirements. Both AC- and DC-coupled solutions can support grid-forming applications.

PCS and EMS Compatibility

Supports integration with a broad range of PCS and EMS solutions to meet regional grid codes and interconnection requirements, with proven grid-forming PCS options available.

Plant-Level Coordinated Control

Supports closed-loop active power control, reactive power and power factor control, ramp rate control, frequency stability and voltage control, BESS coordination, and dispatch response, enhancing the operational flexibility, grid support capability, and grid integration performance of renewable energy plants.

Grid-Forming Support

SunTera provides short-duration power support of up to 3x for 10 seconds. Combined with proven grid-forming PCS solutions from selected partners, it delivers voltage and frequency support, synthetic inertia and short-duration power support, strengthening system stability in weak grids and networks with high renewable penetration.

Main Advantage
Shifts renewable energy and smooths output to reduce wind and solar curtailment and improve renewable energy utilisation.
Provides ancillary services, including inertia response and voltage and frequency support, strengthening grid stability and creating additional revenue streams.
Compatible with AC/DC coupling and multiple PCS options for both new-build and retrofit projects, improving system integration and delivery efficiency.
