Designed for microgrids, the solution coordinates solar PV, battery storage, diesel generation and transfer equipment to maximise renewable energy use, smooth fluctuations and maintain stable islanded operation, improving supply reliability while reducing fuel consumption.
Highly integrated C&I energy storage systems supporting grid-connected and islanded operation, together with black start. Available as G2 (261 kWh) and G2 Plus (522 kWh). In microgrid applications, SunGiga works with the EMS and transfer switchgear to coordinate renewable resources (PV and storage) with conventional diesel generation, maintaining continuous power to critical loads during islanded operation.

EMS 1000 Plant-Level Energy Management System: in-house AI algorithms combine load forecasting with electricity-market strategies to optimise energy storage returns. Core functions include grid-connected/islanded transfer, zero-export control, capacity limit control, demand management, PV self-consumption, PV-storage coordination, time-scheduled power control, black start, peak shaving, load shifting and tariff arbitrage. The system provides unified dispatch and power balancing across renewable resources (solar PV and storage) and conventional diesel generation, while supporting communication with third-party EMS platforms and a wide range of controllers.

Transfer switchgear designed for multi-source power systems, with IP55 protection, a -30°C to 55°C operating range and fanless natural cooling for a 20-year design life. Dedicated connections are provided for the grid, loads, battery storage, solar PV and diesel generators. A seamless transfer time of less than 20 ms and 1.1x overload capability for one minute reliably manage industrial load-starting surges and maintain continuity of supply within the microgrid.

Three transfer modes meet different application requirements: seamless transfer in less than 20 ms; fast transfer within hundreds of milliseconds without interrupting the load; and open-transition transfer, with supply restored by black start following shutdown.
Communicates with and controls third-party PV controllers, generator-set controllers and other equipment, enabling coordinated operation across multiple energy sources.
Provides unified dispatch and coordinated control of solar PV, battery storage and diesel generator sets, maintaining multi-energy coordination and system power balance.
Supports connection to a customer-nominated third-party EMS platform, increasing deployment flexibility and system compatibility.
