Recently, JinkoSolar supplied one set of SunGiga liquid-cooled C&I energy storage product to Shandong Zhaoguang New Energy. By charging during off-peak electricity price periods and discharging during peak periods, it helps customers better manage their overall electricity expenditure.
Compared with traditional energy storage system products, JinkoSolar's SunGiga C&I energy storage system offers enhanced safety. Its self-developed liquid-cooling system sets a benchmark by maintaining a temperature difference between cells of less than 2.5°C. Effective temperature control improves the system's safety and charge-discharge efficiency, while extending battery life. Automatic state of charge (SOC) calibration and automatic coolant refill technology help reduce operation and maintenance (O&M) costs.
In addition, SunGiga provides comprehensive safety design from cell to system level. Leveraging AI capabilities, it enables high-precision real-time monitoring of cells to detect changes and provide early warnings for the system, with five-level protection to reduce the risk of thermal runaway.
SunGiga is available in a variety of system capacities ranging from 250 kWh to 2,000 kWh, designed for 2- to 4-hour energy storage applications. The solution integrates multiple systems including lithium iron phosphate batteries, power conversion system (PCS), battery management system (BMS), energy management system (EMS) and fire protection system, simplifying the transport, installation, operation and maintenance (O&M) processes associated with energy storage products.
The highly efficient SunGiga energy storage system with its integrated design has already gained favour from numerous C&I customers due to its safety features.
