Recently, JinkoSolar, a highly innovative photovoltaic and energy storage enterprise, installed 5 and 6 units of SunGiga commercial and industrial liquid-cooled energy storage systems respectively for Zhejiang Jingpeng Zirconium Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd., with capacities of 500 kW / 1,075 kWh and 600 kW / 1,290 kWh respectively.

In these projects, the 11 SunGiga integrated C&I units are installed in close proximity at the two factories, helping customers successfully achieve the following goals:

• Smoothing peak energy demand: The SunGiga battery system shifts energy demand to the battery during high-demand periods, effectively reducing peak energy consumption.

• Optimising energy usage: The batteries can be charged when electricity is cheapest and most abundant, or when supplied by clean energy sources such as solar. Once charged during off-peak hours, the batteries operate through the system's preset programmes to supply power to the factory during peak periods.
