Recently, Jinko ESS, a highly innovative provider of energy storage solutions, announced that it has successfully delivered four sets of SunGiga commercial and industrial energy storage systems for its first project in Queensland, Australia. This not only marks Jinko ESS’s official entry into the Queensland market, but also demonstrates its outstanding performance and technical strength in complex environments.
Industry-leading corrosion resistance for extreme coastal conditions
The SunGiga energy storage systems delivered in this project feature C5+ corrosion resistance, reaching the industry’s highest standard, ensuring long-term stable operation in Queensland’s demanding coastal environment. Whether facing high humidity or salt spray corrosion, SunGiga has demonstrated exceptional reliability, providing local users with durable and long-lasting energy storage solutions.
Efficient integrated design for simplified installation and operation
The SunGiga 215 kWh integrated energy storage system incorporates a power conversion system (PCS) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries into a single cabinet, significantly reducing installation time and space requirements. Its modular design also enables flexible project expansion, customisable to actual needs. In addition, SunGiga employs circulating liquid cooling, intelligent temperature control and five-level fire protection, which not only improves operational stability and extends product life, but also further enhances safety.
Driving Queensland’s energy transition and improving grid efficiency
This project represents an important milestone in Queensland’s commitment to renewable energy transition and energy storage deployment. With Jinko ESS’s reliable technology, these storage systems not only reduce peak electricity costs but also effectively improve the stability and security of the local grid, bringing greater sustainability to the region’s energy supply.
We look forward to SunGiga injecting new momentum into the clean energy development of Queensland and beyond, and to moving together towards a greener future.
