Located at the MGP mining site in Masbate Province, Philippines, this project features an innovative 1C-rated energy storage microgrid system that provides critical support for sustainable mining operations. The system operates in coordination with an 8.1 MW PV plant, substantially reducing reliance on diesel generator power supply. Its intelligent controller can forecast PV generation and proactively optimize diesel generator dispatch, ensuring stable and reliable power supply. This solution not only alleviates the load pressure on existing diesel generators but also significantly enhances project economics by reducing fuel consumption and O&M costs, presenting a cleaner and more efficient energy future for the mining industry.
